The 2025 Hyundai Tucson is a slot of the automaker’s full-size SUVs down to a lightweight type. Like its bigger bros, the Tucson does not have a “killer app” but instead concentrates on smooth incorporation and all-around reliability to woo customers. Sound boring? Hardly. If we could ask the same from our mobile phones we’d keep from getting rid of ours every two years.
Performance
Lifeless guiding and frequent turbo compresseur energy are balanced out in the 2025 Hyundai Tucson by a well-damped drive. Tucson doesn’t keep motorists with many options. Once you secure on a motor or a number of generating wheels, Hyundai understands the relax for you.
It’s outstanding because cross-over SUVs aren’t so concentrated on the generating experience itself. It should be no real shock that a reasonably cost cross-over like the Tucson has a normal ranking of 6 for efficiency, with an additional factor for its drive.
We’d miss the primary Tucson SE. It comes only with a 164-hp 2.0-liter inline-4, a 6-speed automated. It’s not extremely effective and uses more energy, so the price is its only promoting feature. All other designs give you a 175-hp, 1.6-liter turbo-4 combined with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmitting. With 195 lb-ft of twisting available relatively low in the powerband, this Tucson has more than sufficient energy, and changes blip by without much shock or doubt.
It shouldn’t be wrong as fantastic in any sizing, and with just a hundred excess weight or so aboard, it can seem gradual to accomplish the range, even if the drive-mode selector’s been shifted to Game. The platform 4-cylinder seems more sensitive of the range, probably due to its traditional automation, but the turbo-4 eventually makes better and more useful energy.
2025 Hyundai Tucson – Fuel Economy
At 26 mpg mixed in platform type, the Tucson generates affordable gas mileage. The Hyundai Tucson crossover SUV generates higher EPA ratings than in the past, and gas mileage on its uprated turbo-4 motor is good. The entry-level Tucson activities a 164-hp 2.0-liter inline-4 and a 6-speed automated. The EPA hasn’t modified its ratings from 2025 to 2025 yet, but for 2025 this front-drive design was placed at 23 mpg town, 30 road, 26 mixed. All-wheel-drive designs were with a rating of 21/26/23 mpg.
With the 175-hp 1.6-liter turbo-4 and 7-speed dual-clutch transmitting, the Tucson Game and Restricted designs with front-wheel generate were ranked in 2025 at 25/30/27 mpg; the Eco, at 26/33/29 mpg. With all-wheel generate, those designs were placed at 24/28/26 mpg or 25/31/27 mpg infrequent and Eco editions, respectively. It’s important to note all those numbers position well below the turbo-4 Ford CR-V, with its EPA a lot of 27/33/29 mpg.

Hyundai plenty up the Tucson Restricted, but doesn’t provide much in the way of stand-alone options or customized hits. Hyundai offers the Tucson in five cut levels: SE, SEL, Value, Eco, and Restricted cuts. All provide a fair amount of apparatus, but none provide much in the way of options or advancement. We give Tucson a 7 for functions, with a factor above frequent each for platform content and for Hyundai’s outstanding powertrain and bumper-to-bumper assurance.
The platform Tucson SE has the bottom 4-cylinder and automated, as well as energy functions, air training, vacation management, a rearview digicam, Wireless with audio loading, and a 5.0-inch touchscreen show for its infotainment program. It’s the only Tucson still marketed with a CD gamer, in case you won’t let the 90’s die. The SEL contributes a 7.0-inch show with The apple company CarPlay and Android operating system Automatic, as well as HD and satellite tv stereo.

Eco designs discuss these devices but have special wheels and wheels, the turbo-4 and dual-clutch transmitting. A Value cut stage provides those functions plus back vehicle parking receptors, dual-zone automated heating and cooling, keyless key, a hands-free energy tailgate, and a spectacular sunroof. It also has 19-inch wheels and warmed front-side chairs.
2025 Hyundai Tucson Interior
The Tucson has simple collections and a well-organized internal. In its present version, the Hyundai Tucson implemented an attractive set of shapes that removed a lot of the active areas of mature editions. The Tucson attracts on greater Santa Fe sport for motivation. It has a relatively short cup area, but the big six-sided grille and geometrically described headlamps fit completely together with Hyundai’s bigger cross-over SUVs. On the more costly editions, the Tucson contributes 19-inch metal wheels for a more magnificent look.
