Ford Escape 2024: Rumors and Specs. After extensive redevelopment, the Ford Escape 2024 has been spotted doing trial runs. The new car has been observed to share some characteristics with one of the most famous models from the Ford marque, the Focus.
Engine, Specs
The base trim of this car will be powered by a 1.5 liter EcoBoost, 3 cylinder engine. This power-plant will be available with outputs of 148 and 180 hp.
The higher-end trim option of the Ford Escape 2024 will be available with a 2.0-liter engine producing 245 hp. This engine will propel the car from 0 to 60 mph in 7.1 seconds. It provides the driver with a little more sporty performance.

A 9-speed automatic transmission will transfer engine power to the wheels. These engines deliver an average mileage of 25 mpg (miles per gallon).
Interestingly, the Ford technicians indicate that there will be hybrid and plug-in hybrid engine options available soon after launch.
The SUV is fitted with a collection of advanced safety systems. They include a rearview camera as well as automatic parking thanks to a set of sensors in the front and back. It also has some blind spot monitoring technology as well as lane keeping assist.
The vehicle provides you with adaptive cruise control and automatic high beams. It provides the driver with assisted pre-collision braking capability.
Ford Escape 2024 Redesign
Thanks to major updates to the grille and headlights, the car has a brand new front fascia.
The SUV has a low beltline which rises gradually from the A to the C pillar.

Interior redesign

To provide crisp, clear surround sound, the car is fitted with a 10 speaker SONY audio system. Some other bells and whistles include dual zone automated climate control, a navigation system and also some satellite radio. A row of controls is located right below the main unit while a set of air vents are perched above and below the infotainment system.

Customers can choose between fabric and leather options for the interior upholstery. The leather is available in brown, beige and black colors with contrast stitching as an additional option.
Similar to the Ford Focus, this new model has some controls located on the steering wheel. They allow the driver to manipulate the infotainment system safely and comfortably.
